What Facebook Missed this Year ?

The year 2015 has been… Extraordinary!!
(I paused for about 30 seconds to come up with a befitting expression. Still nowhere near) *sighs

It wasn’t just another year. It was a piñata packed with goodies, surprises, trips, opportunities, Happiness, Success, More Happiness… and the list goes on.

Apparently, it takes a lot of Hard work to social network it all.. and who has that kind of time?
Posting Pictures is tedious. But that didn’t stop us from making memories.

We Lived, We laughed, We clicked. But we couldn’t Post…

So the blogger in me rose from the ashes of 2012 when I wrote “Last day of the year”.
It is one of my favorite blogs which was a creation of all the unsaid observations/realizations throughout the year. I had planned on doing a 2014 version of it. But it never materialized and in the Blink of an eye it is “the Last Day of 2015”

And here we are... smiling as we scribble, reminiscing some top moments of 2015 which ought to go viral for our future generations.

Without any further delay, we are going to do a Highlight reel of this gorgeous year  and will share some snippets of memories filled with warmth to express gratitude to all those who were a part of it. Once again... Lucky ones were a part of it !

So, The year commenced with a “Step Up”.

Samsung Annual day where we performed our very own classical Bharatnatyam and the Audience went all Monjolika as they cheered...

The glitter from the day shall always linger and the feet shall tap the Floor at the slightest hint of music. Dancing does that to you!

Okay...! The second quarter will all be about our First Bungee adventure.
I never knew I could scream that loud. Jesus!
Jumping Heights in Rishikesh, which was a short 3 days trip was an amazing experience. So good that it never occurred to me to click a picture. It was a tech free, nature hugging getaway...
While Rafting is a darling thing you do at Rishikesh, Bungee was the cherry on Top. I might revisit!!
Annndd… Don’t forget to dine at “Little Buddha Café” It’s a nice subtle, ‘delicious sweet lime’’ serving restaurant situated up the bank of Ganges. *sighs again

The Month of May and Yay its my Birthday!! Got Fortunate to be the pampered one with Mom Dad treating with Cake and presents! A Surprise planned at work by close Friends who made
the day all very special.. <3  Thanks Guys :)

As the month ended, it also marked the end of celebrations as it was followed by the infamous CS exams. As you become a student of ICSI, the journey till you become a Member sure makes the words "CS Exam” a haunting experience.

Exams ended, and so did the prep leaves, Work began and when you work like a Ruthless Robot, the rewards are Company Conference at “Goa”.  It only sounded great.

72 hours of impeccable coordination, running around, negotiating, and finger crossed, sleepless nights is what event management is… But after that it all becomes worthwhile when the smug glows with success and glory.

Partner Conference at The Lalit, Goa

And of course having a sweet charming brother in Goa does make things special.

Thanks Aishwarya. You made that trip so memorable.Long bullet ride in the greenery to the beautiful cliff that I always wanted to be at.
It definitely needs an Album.

Vande Matram! The Independence month is here. That calls for Workstation décor and of course some Awesome food, Random out of office Lunches and pictures!!

The Last Quarter has been The Extra in the Ordinary…..

25th September 2015. The Day marks History. Rashmi Singh becomes a CS.

Went to Bangla Sahib for the first time. Thank you God, Mom, Dad, Raidee and Aishu. Love you all.

The much awaited MSOP training, a milestone. Meeting and making such good friends. Felt like good old college days. We met, we trained, we bonded, we partied, We had the time of our lives. I guess they titled me as “Tom boy’’.  Thanks Guys, it was a wonderful time. This will need an album too!

MSOP Batch Party at Euphoria, Gurgaon

Then comes the Singh Family’s most awaited “Finally feels like a vacation”  Trip

Yes. Its family time on the beaches of Goa. Great food, Great Stay, Awesome trip organized by Aishi. The Trip also gave us the chance to celebrate Rakshabandhan and Ganesh Vitsarjan.

One Hell of an Album. Bigger than the sea..!

October 2015 was lucky as we passed the Driving test on our own in High fever. We practiced and learned the very same day, 3 hours before the test. Thanks Dad. You are my Hero.

During Daddy’s visits we always go for long walks and at least a temple.
This time we went to the Chattarpur temples and it was a really good experience.

While November needs no limelight, with the festival of lights dazzling the entire month.

The month about eating fattening food, welcoming winters, sweets, family, and Shoppiingg.

Diwali Day at Office

There will be plenty pictures from that day...!!

Moving on, First week of December was phenomenal.

Then happened the Delhi Comic Con 2015, where we Cos played. The only album that I could manage to share.

Prakhar was “Heisenberg’’ and I became ä better looking “Jesse”. Oh it was super fun. Can’t wait for next year.

Breaking Bad is as addictive as that blue stuff yo!

Can’t believe there’s so much and it has been 8 hours already to this Blog of 2015. Let’s be quick about it.

Experiences to be carried on to Next year -
  • Learned how to cook, not crystal meth, but custom Half fried omelets.
  • Now owns a Kindle to indulge into finer things.
  • And how can I forget, I Learned how to ride an actual motor bike. Gone are the pillion days now…. Ride anyone??
  • Trying and discovering the Roadside Delicacies.
  • Watching Theatre instead of Movies.
  • Goa..oh yes again in 2016.
  • Game of Thrones. Valar Morghulis

Little do we know, what 2016 unfolds for us. I’ll say don’t plan a thing… God has a better plan.

Sometimes, the unplanned impromptu weekends turn out to be better that the planned ones.

Last few weeks of 2015 were one of those. *Smiles mischievously*

Today, as I conclude this blog, I feel satiated. The clock ticks away leaving a faded trail of sweet & sour memories. Memories which are easy to capture but impossible to retrieve.

This writing made me revisit the entire year and I am glad I could steal and seal a bit of happiness from the year. I Hope it puts a smile on the faces of all the people who were a part of it and made this journey a wonderful experience. Thanks all…

I wish a very Happy New year to all the wonderful people who are reading this.
May 2016 be more beautiful, joyous and prosperous!!

As I believe, It keeps getting better everyday!

This is Rashmi of house Singh, reporting from her Hometown with a mouth full of Mom made cup cakes. Let the fat times roll… Cheers :)

The Perfect Love letter

My Love,

Most of us underestimate the power of distance. As you distance from an event or relationship, it's intensity diminishes and then completely disappears. If you virtually distance yourself from this planet, the insignificance of everything becomes overwhelming. And if you distance yourself from the person you love, the spikes and troughs of emotions are replaced by a slow, steady, simmering that strengthens the desire and importance of the one you love.

I did not fall in love with you immediately. I think it was more like intrigue-at-first-sight. Then for a long period I was in adoration and admiration. And then suddenly one morning, I was hopelessly in love. I was suddenly hungry to know you, understand you, go to the layers of events and relationships to understand what has made you the person you are. As my love for you deepened, the hurt began. Some part was jealousy but mostly it was because your feelings then had not become as intense as mine. There was a time I nearly gave up. But I am so happy I didn't.

You are more amazing than you realize. You have qualities that draws those around you, both men and women, even if they are shy acknowledging it. People want to be your friend and they are proud to have you by their side. You have a sharp mind and you understand people very quickly. At the same time you are empathetic and helpful. And that, my sweetheart, makes you a good human being. Your physical perfection and flawless beauty can make men fall on their knees. You have a smile that can melt a thousand hearts. You have a playfulness during your happy and expressive times that is so magical and mesmerizing. You have a mature sense of humour like a smooth dark chocolate. You are a great daughter and a delightful sister. You are a fun friend to be with who knows how to let her hair down. You have a refreshing creativity that does not come from reading a lot but is a natural gift. You are so special and my list is not even half done!

In fact, I believe you underestimate yourself. Can't blame you for being a 25 year old with all shades of moods from bright to dark. That is OK. But I believe that you need to be choosy and not give yourself away easily. You are a perfect friend and a great lover but there is much more to you than that. As you make sure that you take sober relationship steps. You need to be patient. The universe has your good in its mind, just like so many of us who love you.

I don't want to sound melodramatic but I need to share this with you. It came to my mind one day that you will be one of the most important person that I will like to see during my last moments. I can nearly visualize you walking in all lovely and womanly with your son holding your hand, and you just sit and smile at me from a distance, and I smile back. No words are required as we both know that we have been good for each other and have enriched each other's life in ways that no one will ever know. I hope and pray that that warmth will last forever. Did I just say forever! Yes I did because I think it is possible.

The discovery of you as a lover does not end by knowing about your past. That is just the beginning. The real passion is in experiencing you everyday, every moment as you grow and bloom into a happier, more confident and a more equanimous person. I hope you will let me hold your hand in this journey as I too am evolving in ways which are fulfilling to me.

We are on our way to be perfect soulmates as all the ingredients are there. And once that happens in spite of the given limitations, it is immaterial whether we are just a wish away or a phone call away or an ocean away. We will always be there for each other.

I love you

Yours Always
Imhsar

When Men Drive...

If you spend a lot of bums on the driver's seat, I am certain you would relate. Well I don’t drive, but I spend a lot of bums watching people do that.

Unless it’s your profession, I guess we all love to drive. Now, how you drive a vehicle can tell a lot about the kind of person you are.

I know critical heads, It is a weird way of typecasting personalities and it might seem unrealistic or even wtf. But just like the, my bat-my batting rule, this is my blog, my expression.

Parking

While men love to drive, the finer shades of patience can be tested when they need a parking space for their cars at public places. Be it a Mall parking, or a road side (Park at owner’s risk) it is fascinating to watch how they exhibit the adrenaline after a smooth drive and the noteworthy gear shifts in the facial expressions when they need just the “perfect parking spot”.

Instances -

1.       In Malls/offices/commercial buildings- How your conversation turns to a fading blabber the moment they enter that dark parking zone, devouring for a spot which is just near the lift-lobby. The guard will whistle them about a place but.... nah, not satisfactory.

2.       Open spaces – In the day time, you HAVE to find some cover or you’d turn into a dry toast due to global warming after return. A shadow cast by some tall building or a thick tree are the sweetest things you can find to park under the blazing sun. You are lucky if you find one. But when you don’t, the blood boils. There will be arguments about how road is filled with insane people who don’t utilise the parking spots judiciously or basically park like a buffalo.

3.       Swag moments – When you are stuck amidst vehicles hunting for a spot, just when a car starts to leave a beautiful, spacious, safe parking space and you were right there to claim it.
When, a contest breaks in after having spotted a space by two people simultaneously and you very swiftly reach out and win the competition... oh yeah bitch...
.

Driving-
1.       F_*k!@#$%^&*())ma*&^%$#g@!@#$%^&* d ... Bh*^&%%#ch***    - a common tongue spoken by Men when they are driving. Blame the Driving conditions or the fellow traffic bros and hoes.

2.       My personal favourite is – the hatred for High beam. They go eccentric. (Inn logon ko akkal nai hai.. high beam pe chalaate hain). Yeah, you know the entire motor vehicle act.

3.       Stuck in Jam – The impatient ones shall ruthlessly change Lanes, cursing the stupid car wala ahead of you, who is not quick enough to pace up with the crawling traffic. (even worse, Gaadi laga di saale ne)

4.       Sad moment – When you were cruising down the lane and some invisible ugly little speed breaker came all out of nowhere. The damage it did to your baby. While the machine had cramps, you could feel its pain and whispered a heartfelt sorry...

5.       Lady driver – It is a universally accepted truth that, Women don’t know how to drive. So you must drive at least 20 meters away from them. Only they have the liberty to take any vague left or right, without indicators, and they can also change their mind last moment. So, dude if you want to be alive, make space for woman drivers and keep them off your radar.  Thank you.

Men are simply entertaining. Although I agree, when my hands would be on the steering wheel, I’ll exhibit the same behavior, may be even crankier...
Driving does that to men and shall continue to do so.

This was a little of what I have observed and would really love to include more experiences.
Feel free to mention if you have any in the comment box.

Till then drive safe. Wroom wroom.............. Breaks.
